The Beautiful Country Manor House

Gwern Borter is set in ten acres of landscaped grounds with ornamental, organic kitchen and medicinal herb gardens and spinney. We take pride in retaining the Manor's 'Olde Worlde' charm. Our beautifully appointed period rooms include a Victorian 'four poster' bedroom and a double with its own snug. Our oak entrance hall and staircase has an intriguing collection of original oils and limited editions. The Manor the ideal place to relax and unwind, but if you still need to keep on top of things WiFi is available in the lounge. As a quiet rural retreat we do not take children under five or dogs in the house, so a peacefull break is gaurenteed.

Having spent much of our lives at a busy city pace, our aim was to create a perfect rural retreat. We offer the warmest welcome, personal service and a hearty choice of breakfasts. The Manor is run very much as a 'home' that takes guests where you will find all the ambience of a good country house hotel, withot the facility of an evening resteraunt.
